Guide to the choice of mattress for your sofabed
- Choosing a sofa bed involves careful consideration regarding the choice of its mattress. Firm, soft, spring, foam or other materials: solutions for which MILANO BEDDING has studied and tested products with high quality content, able to satisfy the basic criteria of sitting and sleeping comfort, without compromising aesthetics and design.
- often rotate mattresses from top to bottom and head to feet (Memocomfort only head-feet).
- if used in secondary home, leave the sofa half open when not used, to avoid compression for long time of the mattress, seat and backrest.
- avoid leaving the sofa closed with thick duvets.

All polyurethane foams eventually lose lift within very acceptable limits and, if compressed for a long time, lose their shape in the folding areas. Milano Bedding uses only high density and high quality polyurethanes, enabling the mattresses to go back, with a small tolerance, to their original form leaving them open before use.

It is also produced in the British Standard version.
CMS TOPPER MEMORY
Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3 CMHR covered on both sides with 100% PL fabric quilted with 100% polyester fiber 200 g/m2 and nonwoven. 3 cm high memory foam Topper, covered on both sides with 100% PL fabric.

IL 18 SUPER
The structure consists of biconical helicoidal springs, made with tempered steel wire called “Bonnel”, linked by a spiral steel to allow folding without damage, it is a relatively soft mattress, recommended for those who leave the sofa closed for long periods (produced also in “Class 1 IM” and British Standard fireproof version).

The padding is made up of viscoelastic foam on both sides with a “memory” effect, which adapts to the shape of the body without any compression, facilitating blood circulation. The “box” system stiffens the mattress at the sides, for greater comfort when sitting on the edge or when getting out of bed. The cover is quilted with 100% polyester hypoallergenic fibre.

Structure made up of independent pocket springs, one by one, with a smaller diameter than the Bonnel, but the number contained in it is more than double (736 springs in a 160×200 cm mattress); the independent springs compress more or less depending on the weight and bumps of the body, creating an ergonomic position. Mattress suitable for daily use. The upholstery is in “Silver Tech” fabric, built using threads with silver fibers in an intimate blend in the yarn, performing an excellent antibacterial action. The conducting capacity of silver also allows for a valid anti-stress and anti-static action. The “Silver Tech” fabric is quilted on the winter side with Pure Virgin Wool Woolmark®, while the padding on the summer side is in 100% Cotton.
IL 18 DELUXE
Relatively soft and extremely comfortable mattress, it is suitable for daily use.
IL 18 POCKET SILVER 22
Pocket Silver 22 is made with independent springs, each contained in a bag of hypoallergenic material, allowing for differentiated compression according to the weight and protuberances of the body. The padding is made up of “super soft” HR polyurethane foam on both sides, which makes the mattress relatively soft. The box system stiffens the mattress at the sides, for greater comfort when sitting on the edge or when getting out of bed. The cover in Silver fabric contains antibacterial silver yarn and is quilted with 100% polyester hypoallergenic fibre.
IL 18 NATURLATEX
Naturlatex is made with independent springs, each contained in a bag of hypoallergenic material, allowing for differentiated compression according to the weight and protuberances of the body. The padding consists of latex on both sides. The “box” system stiffens the mattress at the sides, for greater comfort when sitting on the edge or when getting out of bed. The fabric is in a cotton and linen blend and is quilted with a wool blend for the winter side and a cotton blend for the summer side.
